Judy Cassab is considered to be one of if not the best female artist in Australia. Her expressionist technique makes her extremely distinctive.
She has one numerous awards including the Archibald Prize 1961 and 1968. Rubinstein Portrait Prize 1964 and 1965.
In 1988 she was made an Officer of the Order of Australia for her services to art.
She is represented in the National Gallery of Australia, the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the Art Gallery of South Australia, the Art Gallery of Western Australia and the Queensland Art Gallery.
